General store if u need camping supplys,one day my fiance and I ran out of coffee we went to the General store at the camp ground for coffee but they were sold out anne the owner offered us coffee from her house and said dont worry about it,that was very nice of her,the following week when we went back to the campground I gave back the coffee and 2 bags of hot and sweet peppers from my garden at home and she was happy with that very nice understanding lady ,as for that guy that commented about the hunting yea there is no hunting allowed on acorn acres property u can stay at acorn acres property for the 2 weeks of deer season and hunt on pa. Hi,my name is anthony my fiance and I have a camper at acorn acres and we love it last year 2015 was the first year we camped there and we cant wait for the season to start I will b up there all summer till closing one of the least expensive campgrounds around only about $1000 for the year everything included except electric we moved from a campground in the poconos thats was 3x the rent price of acorn acres it was over $3000 more than acorn acres rent cost which is crazy high very nice group of campers at acorn acres everyone I met is nice they have activities on the weekend bingo ,bake sales, pig roast,etc. This is a campground that has much local history and appeal and I would highly recommend it.… This is a beautiful campground that was established in 1968 under the name West Creek Gap and is now operated under the name Acorn Acres in a well-established manner. There is an inventory of stored logs for seasoning that is cut and made available as firewood for the cabin and campground. There is also room for future expansion for new campsites. There is also well performed maintenance such a trash removal and snow removal. There is well performed maintenance of the grounds including gardens and lawns.

There are installed septic systems for the buildings and campsites. There is also an environmentally friendly natural spring gravity fed water system for the cabin, store, and campsites. There is also a cabin and a building for a store, restrooms, laundry and showers.

This included the quality construction of the roads that have been built for year round use, and the many private but socially available campsites. Over the years I enjoyed the quality construction and maintenance of the business. Mikulski from 1968 to 1998 when it was sold and is now operated as Acorn Acres.
